Maintenance HBL Sub-basement Renovation project
June 17, 2013 - June 28, 2013
As part of the IT0746 - HBL Sub-basement Renovation project, UITS will continue the migration of HuskyVision CATV circuits. Starting Monday, June 17th and going through Friday, June 28th, the following buildings will be impacted by this work.  Co-op, Gulley Hall, Family Studies, Manchester Hall, Wilbur Cross, School of Business, Gampel Pavilion, Torrey Life, Visitor Center and the Alumni House.  Each building/complex will experience about a 5 minute outage as the circuits are migrated and the levels are tested and balanced CO9542

“As part of the HBL sub-basement renovation project (IT0746), University ITS technicians will be performing maintenance on Core equipment that supports the University’s Data Network. Some of this work includes configuration changes and/or physical relocations of this equipment. UITS will do it best to notify end-users of the specific service impacts and outages that may be associated with these changes. If end-users have any Network connectivity issues after one of these scheduled changes, please contact our UITS HelpDesk to report the problem.” CO9539

Resolved ACD Updates will cause Intermittent Brief Outages

Maintenance work will be performed on the ACD system on Wednesday 6/18/13 between 5:00 and 7:30am.   While the work is occurring, callers to the following departments may be routed to a failover menu rather than hearing the normal department greeting: University Operators, UITS Help Center, Bursar, Financial Aid, Registrar, Admissions, HuskyTech, SAIT, Human Resources, and Graduate School. Notice UITS Moratorium on any Network and System changes
August 19, 2013 through September 6, 2013
The fall semester begins on Monday, August 27th. As is standard practice there is a moratorium on any network and system changes beginning Monday, August 19th and ending Friday, September 6th. This moratorium is in place to ensure a smooth start to the semester as our faculty and students return. Only emergency changes are to be considered during this period and they must be vetted through the proper approval channels. CO10032

Notice Torrington Power Shut Down
June 21 - June 22, 2013
On Friday June 21 and Saturday June 22, electrical work will be done on the Classroom Building, necessitating a power shut off. As a result, the building will be closed.
