Notice Regarding VPN for OSX
November 8, 2013
VPN service (vpn.uconn.edu) currently does not support OS X Mavericks (10.9). The Network Connect function no longer works reliably. Web browsers may not allow the Network Connect software to install. Users who have upgraded to Mavericks and already have Network Connect may get the software to function at their own risk - we have witnessed the software breaking networking in Mavericks. While it may work intermittently, it is not recommended. The Information Security Office is examining means to support OS X Mavericks, but at this time there is no estimated time for a fix.
